Whatever it is you like to do at home, Niko offers home automation products that go along with it. The Belgian company has over 100 years of experience in producing high quality switchgear and sockets. The best way to demonstrate the numerous possibilities of the Niko products? Constructing a stand that feels like home, of course!
For this stand, the intention was to create a recognizable environment where Niko's products and technologies can be shown to end consumers in realistic situations. No overload of products, but clear scenarios that let visitors experience how easy and simple home automation can be.
Interactivity with the customer was important, which we integrated successfully.
Creaplan designed and built several lifelike rooms, each inspired by your daily activities. Our designers went for a homely atmosphere infused with the latest interior design trends. The result is a truly immersive experience where the visitor can interact with Niko's products like they would at home.
The shape of the stand is a black, sleek and stylish volume with cut-outs on the outside that trigger the curiosity of the visitor. Through an inviting and open entrance, visitors are welcomed at the information desk with bar. The walls on the inside are slanted so that the visitor is naturally drawn to the centre of the stand.
The majority of the walls, the ceiling and the floor are finished in high quality birch plywood. Each space is painted in a trendy colour.
The stand is made up of various living areas and experiences.
- outdoor area
- home office
- zen area
- kitchen
- entertainment area
Each area has its own accent colour and offers an experience that goes beyond just walking around the stand. Visitors can smell the spices in the kitchen, test the switches, take in the atmosphere sitting behind a desk, take a break in the zen area and even play a bit of piano in the entertainment area, all urging the visitor to interact with the products.
What makes the stand concept and design unique? The visitors' curiosity is triggered through the recesses in the walls. We installed benches as part of the outer walls, attracting visitors, inviting them to relax while experiencing the stand. In the atmospheric spaces, the Niko products fully come to life. We finished with the beautiful details such as black 3D logos on the walls illuminated with indirect lighting, a tone on tone choice of colours, high quality finishing of the furniture, lighting with eye for detail and even a professional musician giving concerts on the piano.
Not only was the stand a massive success during the trade show - the work effort involved in this project went beyond the Batibouw trade show. We recently converted the stand into a virtual stand that is used today to convince consumers of the Niko products in an online environment, accessible from anywhere in the world, anytime.
